aaden + family / los angeles in-home family photography

what I love so dearly about in-home family sessions is the fact the each and every one is so unique. when I walk into the door of my client’s homes, my job is not to take pretty pictures. it’s to tell their story.

on this beautiful saturday afternoon in glendale, I entered aaden’s beautiful 1930s home. well, actually- aaden was waiting for me just outside his door, and yelled from across the street: “amanda!! this is the first time your at my house! I want to show you my toys!”. I have the coolest job in the world.

aaden’s family story includes grandparents visiting, which lended for time of connection and bonding. this was special moment, to have everyone together under the same roof.  so special in fact, that a fancy bottle of champagne was cracked open, and chocolate chip cookies were freshly made. did I mention I have the coolest job in the world?

thank you to aaden, his parents, and his grandparents (who have been married for 40 years!), for letting me into your world and letting me capture your ever so precious time together. being in a space with three generations of family just feels oh so good.
